In my view, the focus of The Marriage of Figaro is not the wedding itself, but the awakening of two women. Through my research, I found that feminism began to emerge in the mid-15th century, with more women starting to fight for their rightful rights. Therefore, I chose this period as the inspiration for my design and reimagined the opera accordingly.
